Terms of use

I. Content of the terms of use

  1. These terms of use (the Terms) set out the conditions for using the information society services (the Service, Website, hellosajto.hu or app.hellosajto.hu) available on hellosajto.hu and app.hellosajto.hu (https://hellosajto.hu, https://app.hellosajto.hu), operated by Helló Sajtó Kft. (registered office: 1031 Budapest, Amfiteátrum utca 23. 2/10; hereinafter: the Service Provider).
  2. A User is any visitor of the Website and anyone who uses any service of hellosajto.hu and app.hellosajto.hu. By starting to use any element of the Service, the User accepts these Terms.
  3. The Service Provider may amend the Terms at any time. It informs Users of the amendment with a short notice on the home page. By using any Service after the amendment, the User accepts the amended Terms. All information on the operation of the Website and its services, as well as other documents linked from these Terms (e.g. the Privacy Policy), form part of the Terms and are binding on all Users.
  4. Services related to the Website on any website other than hellosajto.hu or app.hellosajto.hu (Facebook.com, Google.com, etc.) are (also) subject to the policies and terms published on that website.

II. Main features and elements of the Service

  1. The purpose of the Service is to publish and distribute business and institutional press releases and to measure their effectiveness.
  2. The essence of the Service is making available, accessible and distributing the copyright-protected content of third parties designated by the Service Provider or of the Service Provider.
  3. The Service Provider reserves the right to modify or discontinue any content element of hellosajto.hu and app.hellosajto.hu, or to change their appearance, content or operation, at any time without prior notice.
  4. Some elements of the Service are only available after logging in with an email address.

III. Login

  1. Users can log in to the client portal on app.hellosajto.hu by entering their email address.
  2. A condition of logging in is confirming that the User has read the terms of use and the privacy policy.

IV. The individual services

  1. Submitting a press release
    After logging in to the app.hellosajto.hu client portal, the User can submit a press release to the Service Provider. If the press release meets the Service Provider's editorial guidelines, the Service Provider undertakes, for a one-off fee, to publish it on the hellosajto.hu press release portal, to distribute it to media representatives and newsletter subscribers, and also provides press monitoring for it.
  2. Newsletter
    After logging in to the app.hellosajto.hu client portal, the User can subscribe to or unsubscribe from the daily or weekly newsletter.
  3. Content consumption
    The User can view, download, share and republish the press releases published on the hellosajto.hu press release portal.

V. Possible infringements while using the Service and their consequences

  1. It is prohibited to use any system or solution that aims at, enables or may result in using the Service in a way not expressly permitted by these Terms, or shutting down the servers used to operate the Service, or that otherwise endangers the proper operation of the Service.
  2. The Service may only be used within the framework of the applicable laws, without infringing the rights of third parties and the Service Provider, and in compliance with these Terms. If a User uses the Service in breach of these Terms or the law, or otherwise abusively, the Service Provider is entitled to take the necessary legal steps to hold the User liable. This measure may also be applied against a User who misuses another person's data.

VI. Liability

  1. As the Service Provider provides the Service "AS IS", it assumes no liability for the accuracy, reliability, error-free operation, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose of the Service, including the software used to operate the Service and all content available through the Service. Furthermore, the Service Provider is not liable for errors arising from causes beyond its control and their consequences, such as technical failures or outages of the Internet network, technical shutdowns or interruptions of any origin, or destructive applications or programs placed by others (e.g. viruses, worms, macros or hacker activities).
  2. The Service Provider assumes no liability for any consequences arising from incorrect data provided when submitting a press release.
  3. The Website also contains links to websites operated by third parties. If the Operator becomes aware that a linked page or the linking infringes the rights of third parties or the applicable laws, it removes the link from the Website without delay. Furthermore, the operator assumes no liability for the content of the links it uses or the websites accessible through them.
  4. The User alone is responsible for using the Service. The Service Provider excludes all liability for any material or non-material damage, infringement or other consequence caused by the User or otherwise arising in connection with the User's conduct.
  5. If a third party, any authority or court makes any claim or initiates proceedings against the Service Provider as a result of or in connection with the User's conduct, the User is obliged to take all measures required by the Service Provider and to compensate the Service Provider for all damage, financial loss and costs incurred by the Service Provider due to or in connection with any unlawful conduct of the User.

VII. Data protection

  1. The processing of the users' personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.
